What is the name of the movie?

I can't remember the movie's name, I watched it as a kid. The movie is
about narrator's childhood, it describes one summer that he will never
forget. He also has a younger brother, they live in 60s i guess. i
remember a scene when tax-collector arrives to their home and they
need to hide new stuff they bought. they can't hide the fridge, so
they lied that they received it from the army. i also think that the
narrator was obsessed with something he saw in a store, can't remember
if that was a toy or what... he got it eventually... i hope this is
enough for you to remember the name of the movie... tell me please,
