'Real Housewives of New Jersey's' Jacqueline Laurita Is in Hot Water With Bravo
Bravo The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Jacqueline Laurita is in the middle of a hurricane of controversy right now with her cast mates and Bravo. AUDIO: 'Real Housewives of New Jersey's' Melissa Gorga Drops First Single "It's true. Jacqueline didn't attend the reunion and doesn't wish to return to the show," a source close to the production tells The Hollywood Reporter about recent reports. The source tells THR that the housewife is currently waiting to see how Bravo will penalize her for skipping the Season 3 reunion and not fulfilling her contract. It all started on Twitter earlier this week when she voiced her frustrations with the show's drama stating, "Someone (not me) got set up tonight. There are some sneaky people trying to make someone look bad & then play innocent on camera. Sad." STORY: 'Real Housewives' Song Sales: How They Stack Up Laurita also tweeted, "No reunion for me," which she later followed up with what looked like her resignation from the show. "I can't be part of the Charade any more," she writes. "It's unsettling. It's disturbing & against what I stand for. I'm a REAL housewife." Laurita's biggest beef is with cast mate Teresa Giudice. "Teresa has tried to sabotage every member of the cast in many different ways," the source says. "She's fooling the public in many ways." The housewife also feels that the show's producers have "created unnecessary and forced drama" according to the source. And with just a month left of shooting on Season 4, she's "rebelling." STORY: 'Real Housewives of Atlanta's' Kandi Burruss Gets Own Bravo Special "She wants to protect her family and her sanity," the source says. "She feels the environment isn't healthy and she can't trust anyone. It's become stressful for her and it's just not fun for her anymore." Bravo did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The Kitty Vanishes (El gato desaparece)
A Bavaria Film Intl. presentation of the Guacamole Films, Patagonik production, with support of Incaa. (Worldwide sales: Bavaria Film Intl., Geiselgasteig, Germany.) Created by Patricia Bustamante, Juan Pablo Galli, Juan Vera, Alejandro Cacetta. Directed, compiled by Carlos Sorin. With: Luis Luque, Beatriz Spelzini, Maria Abadi, Norma Argentina, Damian Guitan, Javier Niklison, Hugo Sigman.Having fun with '40s-era Hitchcock like a cat would toy having a mouse, Argentine author-director Carlos Sorin's "The Kitty Vanishes" cleverly updates the kind of "Spellbound" and "Suspicion" using its slow-burning tale of the Buenos Aires lady (Beatriz Spelzini) whose anxiety about her psychologically recuperating husband (Luis Luque) progressively drives her as crazy because he was -- and perhaps is still. Subtly and acerbically funny, Sorin's pic also works like a dead-serious study of marital mistrust and potentially murderous impulses. This "Cat" might possibly not have nine lives in the worldwide B.O., but fests everywhere will unquestionably wish to pounce. Stylishly shot in widescreen, the film is known as for that sudden disappearance of Donatello, the married couple's pitch-black feline, who hisses in the husband and scratches his face before departing for places unknown. Appears Donatello might be the kitty who understood an excessive amount of, a minimum of about Luis (Luque), a middle-aged college prof recently sprung from psychological lockup after getting extremely attacked a friend whom he'd thought to possess stolen his research. Suspicion obviously runs in the household. Initially thrilled about Luis' go back home, his wife, Beatriz (Spelzini), evolves a coming sense that Luis' formerly identified "psychomotor agitation with behavior disorder" might not have been healed. More or less the disappearing cat, Sorin ("Your WindowInch) rather superbly renders the causes of Beatriz's mounting anxiety as falling approximately legitimately frightening and absurdly misinterpreted. The pic twists its familiar setup by calling the wife's sanity into question around the husband's, even while it characterizes the threat of male violence like a pervasive fact of existence for any lady. Will Beatriz ever have the ability to trust or forgive her husband again? And when she can't, will Luis explode? On the way to a satisfying climax, Sorin has infectious fun tease the viewer with the potential of Luis' malevolence, starting with the initial shot of him as he's launched in the psycho ward searching roughed-up and surly. If curiosity did not get rid of the cat, Luis -- a novice chef who appears to have the action of cutting seafood heads with extra-large knives -- could did the deed themself. Tech credits are topnotch, with Julian Apezteguia's progressively shadowy widescreen cinematography a specific standout. Nicolas Sorin's old-fashioned, string-based score plays in the pic's enjoyably melodramatic elements, including the director's pre-film warning not to give up the ending.Camera (color, widescreen), Julian Apezteguia editor, Mohamed Rajid music, Nicolas Sorin art director, Margarita Jusid costume designer, Ruth Fischerman seem (Dolby Digital), Jose Luis Diaz assistant director, Fabiana Tiscornia. The Sleeping Voice: Film Review
If the purpose of The Sleeping Voiceis to help keep alive the terrible reminiscences from the Franco dictatorship in The country in most its cruelty, it fully works like a timely indication of the period that's fast sinking in to the past. The pity would be that the film's clichéd-ridden story and outdated look will leave many audiences cold, seriously restricting its range beyond The spanish language edges, where it will click mainly with local audiences weaned on straight-arrow TV drama. Vivid performances by attractive leads Maria Leon, who won Best Actress kudos in the San Sebastian festival, and also the fiery Inma Cuestado add interest that may repay for that Warner Bros. release in The country. Two siblings, one politically active and also the other not, end up swept up in politics at nighttime days following a The spanish language Civil War. In director Benito Zambrano's passionate adaptation of Dulce Chacon's novel, Madrid is really a dark and frightening devote the nineteen forties, where civil protections happen to be eliminated the ones are tossed into prison, as well as performed, only for being associated with a Communist or opponent of Franco's regime. Although the Republicans have forfeit the Civil War, freedom martial artists continue to be hiding within the mountain tops, as the government bodies search them lower and kill them mercilessly. The pregnant, spirited Hortensia (Cuesta) languishes inside a crowded women's prison run by massive female pads and inhuman nuns her husband is within hiding and she or he is guilty by association. Much more damning within the eyes from the Chapel (here indistinguishable in the condition), she's a militant atheist without any aim of getting her child baptized. Naturally, the youthful woman's courage is definitely an inspiration towards the other captive women waiting for their fate. Hortensia's naive more youthful sister Pepita (Leon), a rustic mouse with character, comes to Madrid from Cordova to become near her rather remarkably, she immediately finds employment inside a wealthy home with partners to Franco. Just in case someone misses the purpose, the haughty lady of the home is introduced painting uniformed boys giving the fascist salute (most probably her dead sons.) Inside a whisk the religious, apolitical and barely literate Pepita finds herself serving table to ferocious generals and running messages to her brother-in-law within the mountain tops. There she meets the handsome youthful fighter "Black Jacket" (Marc Clotet), who first teases after which falls on her. The moments are exasperatingly apparent, but Leon inserts the perfect quantity of shaking bravado to ensure they are fresh and watchable. In prison, Hortensia witnesses every kind of violence and abuse. During the night, women are pulled from their cells and performed by firing squads. Her very own situation continues to be pending and when she's finally taken before a military court inside a farcical group trial, her baby arrives. The dark-haired, fiery-eyed Cuesta inhales existence into this Republican passionaria, a personality who flashes to Anna Magnani in Rome Open Cityand numerous Mother Courages next. But it's Leon whose funny country method of speaking, walking and thinking offers new things on the watch's screen. Regardless, both stars are extremely appealing and stick out in the stick figures around them. Zambrano is definitely an experienced helmer (Solas, Havana Blues) you never know the ropes and the direction bursts with conviction. However the material here can't help tasting reheated, like many of the tech work: textbook staging, one-source lighting, desaturated colors, etc., which undercut the emotional pressure from the story. CSI: Miami Season 10: Will Marisol's Return Help Horatio Finally Move On?
David Caruso, CSI: Miami CSI: Miami's 10th season premiere will find Horatio seeing ghosts.Fall Preview: Get scoop on your favorite returning showsPicking up from last season's cliff-hanger, Sunday's episode (10/9c, CBS) begins with Horatio (David Caruso) badly injured from a gunshot wound but still desperate to rescue Natalia (Eva La Rue), who's trapped inside the trunk of a car that's been pushed off the pier. But never fear: Horatio's deceased wife Marisol (Alana De La Garza) is on the job."We're really telling a story about how these predicaments affect these characters on a deep, personal level," co-executive producer Barry O'Brien tells TVGuide.com. "Our premiere has Horatio Caine in a very surprising, but very revelatory, encounter with Marisol. It is a very personal encounter that gives him inspiration and insight into his predicament and ultimately how that predicament resolves."More importantly, Horatio's vision may finally help him say goodbye to Marisol. "He is able for the first time to deal with and perhaps process that intimate and devastating loss in his life," O'Brien says. "Horatio is in that phase where, as closure is happening, all sorts of powerful emotions rise to the surface, and there's also ... an opportunity for transition, for moving on."CSI: Miami scoop: Alana De La Garza returns for the season premiereMoving forward in life may be a theme for multiple CSIs, this season. Calleigh, whose portrayer Emily Procter was sidelined for a part of Season 9 because of pregnancy, will begin searching for fulfillment outside of the crime lab byconsidering starting her own family."We're sort of playing with the maternal instincts and a sense of journey for Calleigh," O'Brien says. "She's looking for what may be more of a complete life for her. She does have a very tender interaction with a child ... and they're brought together in a very intimate, tender way. It certainly opens her eyes to a deeper sense of what's out there for her."Consequently, Calleigh may give a second look at resuming her hot-and-cold relationship with Delko (Adam Rodriguez). "They work together in such an intimate fashion, and they've had such a history together," O'Brien says. "You see the power and depth of their feelings toward each other. The door is open, and we see them step through just a bit. They're certainly examining the possibility of what their future holds, and we might see them taking just a few more steps together."Check out our list of TV's sexiest crime fighters!Natalia's season won't be as cheery. After surviving a number of brushes with death last season, Natalia will be a bit shaky. "It has a profound impact on her," O'Brien says. "You'll see her look for support from the team around her as she gets her legs back underneath her and regains her confidence. [CSIs'] instincts have to be sharp, and Natalia has a little bit of a distance to travel to get back to that place."Indeed, all of the team members will have to be on their A-game when they have to reconstruct a crime scene that has been shattered and scattered by a tornado. And the team will have to help a female Mexican police chief who flees to Miami to prevent a drug cartel from murdering her family. But perhaps this season's most disturbing story is that of a depraved serial killer whose terror spree is able to continue because of his father's deep pockets. 24's Carlos Bernard will recur as the patriarch of this rich family who will taunt Horatio all season long.CSI: Miami exclusive: 24 vet is Horatio's new nemesis"There will be a very high-octane relationship between the two," O'Brien says. "A hero is only as heroic as his opposition is deadly, so we're really going to go there with this character."We're going to discover that over the course of the season that they may be pulling a lot more strings politically than meets the eye," O'Brien continues."That will be a driving theme through Season 10 - that Horatio may not completely understand the face of evil that is facing him. ... Horatio's fight for justice might just get compromised."CSI: Miami premieres Sunday at 10/9c on CBS.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Watch Online Free

Knuckle Documentary Trailer: Bare-Knuckle Boxing Using the Fam!
The Sundance selection Knuckle, Ian Palmer’s documentary about feuding Irish families who participate in illegal bare-knuckle fights to create recognition for their clans, is much more than frightening: It’s angry. The brand new trailer shows all of the hateful grit, bloodied torsos, and familial sanctity imaginable, also it even throws inside a couple of shots from the children fighting too. The mitts are off, and also the violence is on. (Who am I, Gene Shalit?) Secure your sons, watching a clip following the jump. Like a documentary, I imagine Knuckle falls prey that the people are enthusiastic about showing themselves within the right light outdoors the ring. That also doesn’t mean a type of seriously serious dialogue like “Your guy is going to be visiting the hospital, because I’m likely to hurt him any after i can” is any less chilling this trailer bursts with seething conviction, and that i’m particularly thinking about talking with the moms and kids of those pugilists. Have you not wince watching the children punch one another? Using their giggly McDonald’s Playland faces? I want about eight Enya ballads to undo my damage. Knuckle is formally launched December 2. Broadway belabored by fall
The only method to conquer Broadway's annual publish-Labor Day slump, it appears, is to possess a little belief. Belief in "It of Mormon," anyway: Per week when nearly every single show about the Primary Stem saw sales drop, "Mormon" ($1,293,582) rose -- and handled to top perennial smash "Wicked" ($1,253,990) along the way and almost nick "The Lion King" ($1,299,169). The "Mormon" task is particularly impressive considering the fact that its theater seats no more than 1,075 versus. 1,800 at "Wicked" and 1,675 at "The Lion King." Otherwise, it had been a difficult week throughout, with major 35mm slides published for the most part from the shows about the boards. "Lion King," "Wicked" and "Spider-Guy: Switch Off the Dark" ($1,197,278), for example, all saw week-to-week sales visit about 20%. The yearly downturn is due to the passing at work Day, the state demarcation from the finish from the summer time travel several weeks. But this season the results were amplified through the customer attention forwarded to the town activities organized round the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Productions with two shows skedded throughout that Sunday (instead of just one for the most part shows about the Rialto) were likely go to the toughest, as was the situation with, for example, "Mary Poppins" ($492,889), lower an astonishing 35%. Plus, using the concurrent startup from the school year, numerous productions with family appeal -- including "Poppins" and Daniel Radcliffe topliner "How to achieve Business Without Really Trying" (lower by almost $300,000 to $757,240) -- also required a few of the toughest hits from the frame. A few of the better quality more recent choices from last season ended up, but less so: Both "War Equine" ($943,131) and "Anything Goes" ($732,228) downticked only a little, especially in comparison towards the relaxation from the Street. Buzz-challenged "Sister Act" ($463,035), however, performed to average auds of under 50% of capacity. Meanwhile, tuner "Follies" ($743,353), which opened up Monday evening, organized pretty much because of the sesh's overall trend and also the fact the musical covered a string of comp-heavy press performances over the past weekend. One show, "Hair" ($368,039), left posting exactly the same low sales because it had drenched throughout its return operate on the Rialto, as the week's only new offering, Frank Langella starrer "Guy and Boy" ($98,634) in the Roundabout, got on a sluggish start. Overall Broadway cume fell $4.a million to $14.3 million for 21 shows about the boards, with attendance falling to 165,000. Within the silver lining department: That B.O. figure really marked a noticable difference within the week ending Sept. 12, 2010, when 23 shows drawn inside a total of $13.4 million. Girl Model
A Carnivalesque Films presentation in colaboration with Dogwoof Films and POV. (Worldwide sales: Dogwoof, London.) Created by David Redmond, Ashley Sabin. Directed, edited by David Redmond, Ashley SabinWith: Ashley Arbaugh, Nadya Vall.As untouched and body fat-free because the would-be celebrities it profiles, the smart "Girl Model" will get within the virtual human trafficking of lovely youthful Russians in to the netherworld from the Japanese modeling market, monitoring one youthful blonde Siberian's experience from breathless hopeful to broken dreamer. Broadcast on PBS is assured, however the vaguely salacious character of story, and also the tenacity of their company directors, may help further advance a doc that handles to balance guileless objectivity having a very determined perspective. Using no narration and limited game titles, helmers David Redmon and Ashley Sabin open their gritty verite drama having a fantastically bleak shot looking over the Siberian city in which the story starts, after which move inside where it's warm -- a modeling meat-market that pulls 100s of youthful Russian women wishing hitting the in a major way, parading their skinny innocence around in bargain-basement swimsuits. All of them imagine being selected to visit Japan, where jobs are guaranteed along with a vibrant future is guaranteed, each of which, not suddenly, turn to be figments. But while Sabin and Redmon never really expose anything -- the slippery male figures they interview reveal little that's overtly illicit, not really their perpetual pipeline into impoverished Russian youth -- it does not have a sommelier to identify the piquant bouquet of arch criminality. The lady at the middle of "Girl Model" is 13-year-old Nadya Vall, a willowy candidate whose childlike looks make her a shoo-set for the youth-obsessed Japanese market and whose consequent travails are chronicled by Sabin and Redmon, from Siberia to Tokyo, japan and a number of misadventures that appear included in the machine. But where Nadya may be the picture of innocence and aspiration, ex-model Ashley Arbaugh is one thing else. The film's most intriguing, notable and enigmatic character, Arbaugh now wrangles youthful women for that Russian agency run with a shady customer named Tigran, and the Japanese counterpart, referred to as "Deliverer" (a Japanese mogul who "really loves models," as Arbaugh states, within the film's most loaded moment). While "Girl Model" falls a little short within the delivery of hard details and incriminating evidence, it a lot more than comprises for your within the knotty mental profile of Arbaugh, whose own video-diary records in the mid'-90s -- when she was modeling -- give a haunted glimpse into used youth. A trip to Arbaugh's home in Connecticut, a spacious, rambling modernist dwelling with the warmth of the bus station, is really a creepfest: A set of baby dolls sit upright about the couch inside a family room lacking of almost every other decor. Arbaugh comments that they think it is appropriate when she bought the home to purchase the dolls, too. She's an overt desire to have children as well as an apparent lack of ability to possess them her require is palpable and pitiful, and also the toy sequence has got the mind spinning. Still, Arbaugh is constantly on the help funnel youthful women right into a business that chews them up and spits them out. "Girl Model" is not judgmental, except by implication, but it's a little heartbreaking, not nearly the women as well as their plight, but concerning the desperation behind their families' readiness to transmit children into a game title so rigged against them. Their contracts, we are told, routinely forbid these phones put on weight, or inches -- and also, since adolescents that do not grow are generally sick or dying, this really is clearly a method to eliminate them unconditionally whatsoever. Nadya ultimately does not suffer permanent damage, even when her dreams do, but what she represents concerning the global culture's idolization of youth and sweetness -- and it is insufficient remorse in taking advantage of it -- talks volumes. Production values are naturally, and possibly properly, horrid sometimes, because of the chair-of-the-pants filmmaking and also the character from the figures as well as their story.camera, Redmond, Sabin music, Matthew Dougherty, Eric Taxier. Rising Star: Joel Edgerton
By Jesse SperoLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Joel Edgerton might not be a household name just yet, but with a slew of high-profile projects in the works including this weekends Warrior, with former AccessHollywood.com Rising Star Tom Hardy, this Australian actor is about to take off. Joel might be best known to fanboys for his role in two Star Wars movies playing the young version of Luke Skywalkers uncle, Owen Lars (blue milk!), but this weekend moviegoers will see a whole new side of the actor a toned, tough and ripped side when he plays Brendan, a former MMA fighter-turned-high school teacher in the midst of a family crisis involving his brother, played by Hardy. The 37-year-old actor recently told Access at the Warrior junket that the movies physical requirements were initially daunting. We got injured, but thats part of the excitement about signing up for something like that, he said. Its a real challenge, Joel, who tore his MCL while filming and was warned by a doctor not make the movie, continued. I had this sort of stupid idea that I was too old to do anything that athletic anymore. Outweighing the physical risks of the role was his desire to flex his acting chops. It feels good to have a chance to do all those things, because I [was] craving them years ago, he told Access. It was like, Give me a chance! Let me do all these things that I think I know I can do! And [then sometimes,] you dont get the job, or they give it to someone else. So, its good. The jobs have continued to line up for Joel, who has The Odd Life of Timothy Green, with Jennifer Garner and The Great Gatsby, with Leonardo DiCaprio coming up. Hes a straight up guy, Joel said of upcoming co-star Leo. Hes a great actor too. Joel wasnt the only one handing out the compliments. Access also spoke to his Warrior co-star, Jennifer Morrison, and director Gavin OConnor. Someone that is brimming with integrity, the kind of person that has an intelligence and soulfulness and someone that you want to be your husband, the father of your child, Gavin said when asked about his search for the role of Brendan. When you look at this guy, you can believe that maybe in his past hes maybe a bit of a bar room brawler. [Joel] had that in him. When he walked out I said to the casting director, We just found Brandon. Joels onscreen wife also gushed about the actor, revealing that there are many sides to the Aussie. Hes just an incredible human being. There are not enough nice things to say about Joel, she told Access. Joel is a true renaissance man Hes sort of that guy that every guy wants to be Hes an incredible writer, hes a painter, hes plays guitar. Adding with a smile, Hes pretty dreamy.
